Workforce EXCELLENCE

Pomerleau project achieves the Gold Seal gold standard

With a focus on experience, competence, and excellence in the management of a construction project, Gold Seal projects showcase the value of Gold Seal Certified professionals on a work site.

The latest to be recognized as a Gold Seal project is one that was designed, built, and equipped in record time in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In May 2021, just 10 months after breaking ground (when it usually takes 30 to 36 months), Pomerleau’s Royalmount Biologics Manufacturing Centre, a new state-of-the-art, 5,400-square-metre facility in Montreal was completed – on budget and ahead of schedule.

The speed with which the Centre was built is thanks to the vast experience and cooperation of the client (National Research Council Canada – NRC), the project manager (Public Services and Procurement Canada), the pharmaceutical professionals (Laporte Experts Conseils), the construction manager (Pomerleau), and some 60 subcontractors and suppliers.

This is just one example of a number of other great projects featured on our website.

If you would like to gain additional exposure for your construction project and raise the level of your management staff’s professionalism, consider registering as a Gold Seal project.

Any construction company in Canada with a project in the heavy construction/industrial, commercial, institutional, and high-rise multi-family housing sectors that is proud of its excellence in construction management and would like to promote Gold Seal certification is encouraged to apply to be registered as a Gold Seal project.

The benefits of registering as a Gold Seal project include:

  • Promoting the value of Gold Seal Certified professionals on your project site;
  • Demonstrating your ability to manage and undertake challenging construction projects;
  • Showcasing your company’s professionalism and expertise in the construction industry; and
  • Educating non-certified staff about the value of Gold Seal Certification.
