Nominations open for the 2024-25 CCA National Awards

The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is thrilled to kick off nominations for the prestigious 2024-25 CCA National Awards – your chance to spotlight the trailblazers, innovators, and standout individuals and organizations making waves in the Canadian construction industry.

The deadline to apply is December 2, 2024.

With nine distinct award categories, CCA is proud to provide a platform for our members and partner associations to showcase their exceptional achievements and be recognized nationally during our awards breakfast, sponsored by Northbridge Insurance, at the CCA Annual Conference in Quebec City.

Each category celebrates different aspects of excellence, community, and innovation in construction, reflecting the diverse strengths and values of our industry. Below is a brief overview of each award. For complete terms of reference and detailed criteria, please visit our website.

This accolade honours CCA member firms, partner associations, or individuals employed by a member firm who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to community betterment. Nominees should provide details of their involvement in activities, organizations, or causes that contribute positively to their communities, regions, or the country at large.


Established in 1991, this award recognizes innovative engineering, architectural design, construction practices, technology, or environmental management systems that offer significant environmental benefits. Submissions should include quantifiable data on environmental impact, life-cycle assessment, and the innovative nature of the submission.


This award highlights CCA member firms that have implemented groundbreaking construction practices within the past two years. Submissions should describe the innovation, its benefits, and improvements in safety, productivity, predictability, profitability, and environmental sustainability.


The Gold Seal Award celebrates CCA member firms that exhibit exceptional commitment to construction management excellence. This award recognizes firms that support and promote Gold Seal certification among employees and incorporate the Gold Seal program into their business practices.


In memory of Gordon M. Vipond, this award honours exceptional commitment to workplace safety. It recognizes achievements in safety program development, staff training, industry contributions, and maintaining an outstanding safety record.


This award acknowledges CCA integrated partner associations that have shown exemplary leadership in enhancing the industry through lobbying, government relations, education, and member recruitment. Innovative initiatives that yield tangible results are particularly valued.


Introduced in 2019, this award recognizes efforts to champion diversity and inclusion within the construction industry. Submissions should detail inclusive recruitment strategies, efforts to promote under-represented groups, and initiatives to reduce bullying, harassment, or discrimination.


This accolade is for individuals under the age of 40 who are employed by CCA member firms and have demonstrated strong leadership, growth, and active support for the construction industry through involvement in CCA Partner Associations or the Young Leaders Group.


Honouring the legacy of Robert Stollery, this award recognizes individuals who embody exemplary leadership and uphold the highest standards in the construction industry over a career spanning more than 20 years. The Pinnacle Leader Award celebrates those who pursue excellence in all facets of the Canadian construction industry.
