New CCA and CCDC documents now available!

The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) and the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) are excited to unveil a series of new documents for the construction industry.

As of May 21, the following documents have been released and are now ready for purchase through CCA’s Partner Associations:

Of particular note is the introduction of contracts tailored specifically for use under Québec’s distinctive civil code, a first for CCA and CCDC.

The CCDC 20 – 2024 ‘Guide to Construction Contract Administration’ provides invaluable insights for all parties involved in contract administration, offering best practice recommendations and explanations of standard contracts and procedures.

The CCDC 16 – 2024 ‘Guide to Changes in the Contract’ explains everything you need to know about changes, including claims under the contracts and when change orders, change directives, and supplemental instructions should be used.

The CCDC 220, 221, 222 – 2024 ‘Bond Forms’ have been updated to incorporate the Ready-for-Takeover project milestone and introduce further clarity, collaboration, and responsiveness on the part of the surety.
