Learn how applying Lean principles accelerated the build of mass vaccination sites
As COVID-19 vaccines were being approved for emergency use there was an immediate need to erect mass vaccination sites in arenas, drive-thru clinics, and makeshift temporary buildings. Join Jean-Marc Legentil, a council member with CCA’s Lean Construction Institute of Canada (LCIC) and Dr. Joy Dobson, Saskatchewan Health, who will share their learnings on applying Lean principles to these critical projects.
The two-hour virtual training session will be presented in English on Tuesday, November 23 at 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. The virtual training is open to all, however LCIC members can take advantage of a special discounted rate.
Dr. Dobson and Mr. Legentil will provide first-hand insight on how their efforts directly impacted how sites were commissioned, specifically analyzing the situations in Quebec and Saskatchewan. They will also discuss the similarities and differences in their approaches, and which classic tools from Lean were applied in this critical initiative.
