Brendan Nobes to serve second year as CCA Chair
The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is pleased to announce Brendan Nobes is returning for a second year as Chair of the 2023-24 Board of Directors. A 35+ year veteran of the industry, Nobes is the Director of Major Projects for rcs construction, a general contracting firm building landmark projects throughout Atlantic Canada.
Members approved changes to CCA’s by-laws to allow for an option to extend the term of chair from one to two years. Nobes has effectively led the Board of Directors to advance excellence in governance, including a robust governance manual, a more diversified Board, and a refreshed three-year strategic plan. CCA was recognized for its leadership with an award from the Governance Professionals of Canada.
