The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is pleased to present the CCA Members Industry Summit. This half day event, taking place September 16, 2021, is an exclusive opportunity for CCA association leaders and members from across Canada, representing all segments of the construction industry, to engage with CCA’s Board of Directors and participate in sessions covering a range of timely issues.
The Summit will include a Fall Construction Economic Outlook with Peter Hall, Vice-President and Chief Economist, Export Development Canada; a panel discussion on the current state of play of infrastructure across Canada, a fireside chat with CEOs from the industry, and to close out, an interactive session with CCA Board of Directors and President.
This event is free to attend and open exclusively for members and partner association leaders and staff.

CCA Chair, Ray Bassett, will welcome all participants to the CCA Members Industry Summit and set the stage for this exclusive afternoon event.

12:05-12:50 – Fall Construction Economic Outlook
The end is insight for the pandemic, but what does it mean for Canada and the global economy? As everyone prepares for the social and economic realities of what a post-COVID world will look like, this session will take an evidence-based approach to explore the current situation and provide construction leaders with credible data to effectively navigate what lies ahead.

13:00-13:45 – Vision for Infrastructure
The industry has been advocating for a long-term vision for Canada’s infrastructure investment that aligns priorities at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels. This session will explore what that vision could be and discuss how to improve coordination among public and private owners and funders, best methods to finance and deliver infrastructure projects and how the industry can continue to take a leadership role in outlining infrastructure priorities in the future.
