The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) is hosting its annual Construction Industry Forecast event on January 19, 2023 at the Michelangelo Banquet Centre in Hamilton.

Each year the association invites the major buyers of construction in the region to talk about their upcoming projects for the current year and beyond. The event helps association members understand the local and national market conditions as well as the regional projects that will be
coming up for tender.

“Hamilton continues to see a strong construction market; 2022 was the eleventh consecutive year that the City of Hamilton issued more than $1 billion dollars in building permits with a construction value of $1.86 billion – the second highest value in the City’s history,” said Ryan Kneisz, HHCA President. “The forecast is a great way for our members to learn about what’s on the short and long term horizons in our area.”

The association has secured another impressive lineup this year with speakers from McMaster University, City of Hamilton Water, Mohawk College, Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority and Slate Asset Management participating. ConstructConnect will also be on-hand to share an economic
update with attendees. The registration fee is $65 plus HST for HHCA members and $85 plus HST for non-members.

Established in 1920, the Hamilton-Halton Construction Association has been serving our local Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) construction firms for over 100 years. We are committed to helping our members build their businesses; providing resources, keeping them up to
date on legislative changes, offering educational opportunities and a chance to network with their peers. Each year we aim to improve our program of services, continuously realigning our offering to meet the specific needs of our members.
