A special two-hour virtual training session on the new CCA 1 is being offered free-of-charge to CCA members before its official publication in December.
Authors of CCA 1 – 2021 will provide an in-depth analysis of the new document, including how it will work with the new CCDC 2 “Ready-for-Takeover” milestone as well as other prime contracts that use Substantial Performance of the Work as the project milestone. The session will also showcase what to look out for before signing any subcontracts. Language of the new CCA 1 will be used throughout the training seminar to show examples of fair and equitable provisions. The presentation will end with a Q&A session for attendees to pose their questions directly to the documents’ authors.
