CCA “Big Table”
In my welcoming address I mentioned the ongoing promise to continue looking for opportunities to improve the way CCA works. One of the things we’re working on for the first half of the year is to create a CCA ‘big table.’ This will be an opportunity for a larger group to be at the same virtual ‘big table’ to discuss national issues. For several years CCA has been advocating for a long-term federal infrastructure plan. The recent announcement by the federal government of the “Building the Canada we want in 2050” initiative is a first step. At our first ‘big table’ session, we’ll focus on ideas and priorities that can inform CCA’s submissions and advocacy with the Government of Canada on this initiative.
CCA is all about working together on national issues. Even in this temporary virtual world, we can still find opportunities to meet, participate in local association meetings and discuss how CCA can help make your voice heard on national issues. Please reach out to Carly Pagliarello at [email protected] to find a time for CCA to connect with you.
Best regards,
