Micro-lesson series: Preventing and responding to gender-based and sexual harassment in the workplace
WomanACT and SCWIST have partnered with CCA to launch a transformative Micro-Lesson Training Series. This dynamic initiative, available to CCA integrated members at no cost, aims to reshape workplace cultures, directly confronting the issue of harassment in workplaces, especially affecting women, with the goal of reducing stress, enhancing productivity, and retaining women. The micro-lessons are offered as self-paced, online learning and will consist of six short modules in English or French, covering core concepts and principles for building accountable workplace cultures.
These micro lessons aim to provide a basic understanding of how gender-based and sexual harassment occurs in the workplace and practical ways to develop a culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability through policies, practices, and procedures. A certificate of completion at the end of the micro lessons acknowledges that the member has learned essential concepts, practical strategies, and actionable steps to cultivate a safe and inclusive workplace.
