Terms of reference: CDBI Award of Excellence
Since 2002, CDBI has presented its Awards of Excellence to recognize greatness in the Canadian design-build industry. Project submissions for consideration can be made by professionals, and each year CDBI will select one design-build project to receive the award, which is presented at the annual CDBI conference.
Submissions must be received by CDBI no later than May 31th to be considered.
- The Design-Build Award of Excellence is bestowed annually by the Canadian Design-Build Institute (CDBI) to a Canadian design-build project completed within the past five years.
- Submissions for consideration for the Design-Build Award of Excellence may be made by team members involved in the project.
- Submissions will be evaluated based on the judging criteria. Project size is not a factor, and entries from projects of all sizes are encouraged.
- Award winner will be selected at the discretion of CDBI. The decision of CDBI is final and not subject to appeal. If, in the opinion of CDBI, no suitable submission is received, CDBI has the right to not select a recipient.
